Delivery Guidelines

Door Orientation

Let us know if you prefer the container to be loaded with the doors facing the cab of the truck (Forward) or the rear of the trailer (Backward)

Container Placement

The location of your container and the ground where the truck will park must be level or have a gentle incline. If the truck or trailer has to cross uneven terrain during unloading, it may cause equipment damage, leading the driver to refuse the delivery.

Paved surfaces like concrete and asphalt are ideal for the delivery of shipping containers. If you are in a rural area, we can still deliver your container, but the delivery site must be on a well-maintained, two-lane county road at a minimum. Unsuitable surfaces include loose dirt, sand, flooded or muddy areas, soft soil, ice and snow, steep inclines or declines, and areas with drains, ditches, or trenches. Make sure to clear the delivery area of rocks, tree stumps, and other debris that could damage our equipment.

*Please note that trucks cannot turn while unloading the container*

• For a 40ft container delivery, a minimum straight-line clearance of 100ft is needed.
• For a 20ft container delivery, a minimum straight-line clearance of 60ft is needed.

Height and Width Restrictions

Generally, a minimum clearance of 14 feet in height and width is required. During unloading, the driver will lift the container to slide it off the trailer, with the highest point reaching about 20 feet. Ensure there are no low-hanging branches, gates, arches, eaves, or other obstacles that could damage the truck or trailer. For safety, it is advisable to have two people on-site to help spot any low-hanging objects on the delivery day.
